Concepts, Background Art & Sound for Animation

Some old Art School friends have been submitting work for the London 48hr SciFi Film Challenge for a few years now. I helped out with some music, sound fx and some notional ideas for concept art style backdrops for live action last year (2018) which was loads of fun. Some of the discussions around the unused concept art ideas turned to discussions of an attempt at an animated entry this year which we did and we ended up getting short listed which was great, it was a huge effort in such a short time, and made even more interesting due to the team being spread across the UK, i.e. Cardiff, Norwich, Leatherhead, Cambridge, Bath and myself in Hull (see linked making of video).

The Final Film, a Making of Video and The Full Creative Credits can be found at the bottom of the post.
