Environment Art - Leng Haader the City Of Sphinxes

A part digital paint, part paint-over and photobash. An exercise in atmospheric lighting... the city of Leng Haader has an obsession with Sphinxes and cats. Normally a peaceful place, there seems to be something going down on the streets tonight, as four men step out to meet a hooded stranger.

The full image, slightly reduced from the original size which is close to a meter wide (I’ve been thinking of printing it), so in this version there might be a little drop out, or pixel fuzz.

Two other assassins wait for their moment, one in the shadow of a sphinx wall carving (one of many in Leng Haader), the other from the back of the Poison Chalice Tavern.

Yet another assassin has found a place in upper rooms of the Frothy Mug victualers, atop the Street of the Bladesmiths.

More signs incorporating the city of Leng Haader’s patron animal, the Sphinx. It is said that there are more images of Sphinxes in the city than people, the only thing there are more of, are stray cats...

Detail of the previous detail, strays in the shadowy streets of Leng Haader. Cats are sacred here, whatever form they take.

The Well of the Three-faced Sphinx, an alt image of the same city. Again part digital paint, part paint over and photo bash from my own photos taken in Germany.
