Vehicle Concept, Multiple Design & Styling Exercise - 001.
Four vehicle designs based on one concept sketch, trying to create a family of vehicles, retaining some of the same features and transposing them into alternative functions, in this case an MPV, a Heavy Duty 4x4, a Sports Coupe and a Micro/Smart Car.
I've included some 3/4 turnarounds and explanatory sketches I did to help someone translating the Micro into 3D, plus the original sketches and roughs that initiated the designs.
MPV version - 5 door family vehicle.
Heavy Duty Pick-up - with alternative lines showing possible mix & match variants for rear covers.
Sports Coupe - single canopy-door slides up and forward across bonnet.
Micro/Smart Car - 3 door, based on the bulkier (original) MPV design.
3/4 turnaround to show those wheel arches, the bonnet/hood styling and that extended up & over windsheild (which would be further extended in the MPV version.
